A 2 cm smoked oak board resting on two triangles of bent steel rod. The brackets show, and are meant to; the shelf is half the thickness of the hidden-rod oak shelf and about half the weight, which is why it stacks well into a wall of three or four.
It is reduced because next season's bracket is a warmer dark brown rather than charcoal. Nothing else changes. Being thinner, the board bows a little sooner under books than the thick shelf does.
