Terms & conditions

Last updated 25 October 2026. These terms govern every order placed with Noon & Nest Ltd.

1. The seller

Noon & Nest Ltd, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Ireland, trading as Noon & Nest. Contact: hello@noonandnest.com.

2. Prices

Prices are in euros and include Irish VAT for delivery within the EU. Delivery is added at checkout according to the delivery page. For the United Kingdom, import VAT and any duty are not included and are collected by the carrier.

Where a piece is shown at a reduced price alongside a higher one, the higher price is the price we ourselves charged for that piece for at least 30 consecutive days within the six months before the reduction. We do not raise a price in order to show it crossed out. Reductions are made when a finish or a component is being changed; the piece and its guarantee are unaffected.

Every size, length or finish option of a piece is sold at the one price shown for that piece.

3. Orders and the contract

An order is an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we email the dispatch confirmation. Before that we may decline an order — for instance if a material is unavailable or a price was listed in error — and any payment is refunded in full.

Pieces are made to order from solid wood and steel. Each product page states the dimensions for the option shown, the load the piece is designed to carry, the assembly it needs, and what the material is expected to do over time. Variation in colour and grain between boards, and the behaviour of the material described on the page, are properties of the piece and not a lack of conformity. A piece used beyond its stated load, or outdoors, or commercially, is used outside the contract.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider. Card details are entered on the provider's systems and never reach us. Bank transfer orders enter production when the transfer arrives.

5. Delivery

Lead times on product pages and delivery times on the delivery page are estimates in working days, not guarantees. Delivery is to the kerb or ground-floor entrance unless room-of-choice was selected and paid for. Risk passes to you on delivery. You are responsible for confirming that the piece will fit through the access route; the sizes page gives every box dimension for that purpose, and a piece that cannot be delivered because it does not fit the access is treated as a return under section 6. If a parcel is lost, tell us and we will pursue the carrier and replace or refund the order. Damage in transit is replaced part by part on receipt of a photograph and does not use the guarantee.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. We extend this voluntarily to 30 days. Returned pieces must be in their original packaging; a piece that has been assembled may be returned if it is disassembled and repacked. Pieces that have been fixed to a wall, oiled, cut or otherwise altered cannot be returned unless faulty. Return carriage is yours unless the piece was faulty or not what you ordered, at the rates on the delivery page. We refund within 14 days of the return arriving, to the original payment method.

7. Conformity and the structural guarantee

You have a statutory right to goods that conform to the contract for two years from delivery under EU and Irish law. Separately and in addition, we offer a 5-year structural guarantee on every piece: if a frame, rail, joint, weld, slat, drawer runner or bracket fails in ordinary domestic use within 5 years of delivery, we replace the part, or the piece where the part cannot be separated, and pay the carriage. The guarantee's scope and exclusions are set out on the care page and form part of these terms. The guarantee follows the piece, not the buyer. It does not replace, limit or shorten your statutory rights.

8. Intellectual property and originality

The names, drawings, photographs, text and layout of this site belong to Noon & Nest Ltd. Every piece in the range is our own design. We do not sell reproductions of any other maker's furniture, we do not offer any piece as a version of or alternative to another designer's product, and we do not use any third party's trade mark. If you believe something on this site infringes a right you hold, write to the address above and we will respond within five working days.

9. Liability

We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded under Irish law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage caused by assembly contrary to the instructions, by loading a piece beyond its stated capacity, or by failing to fit a wall tether that we supplied and said was required. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Complaints

Email hello@noonandnest.com. We acknowledge within two working days and aim to resolve within 14 days. If we cannot agree, you may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (ccpc.ie), or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

11. Governing law

Irish law applies and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live.
