Five slats of solid ash, spaced a finger apart, on two angled legs. It goes at the foot of a bed to take the folded blanket and tomorrow's clothes, and it works just as well under a window as a low shelf for plants.
The slats are what make it light and what make it a little more work: dust settles in the gaps and needs a cloth run between them. It is 42 cm tall, a normal seat height, and takes two adults sitting.
